A website that integrates math into the history, navigation and landfall of Christopher Columbus. When you get to the site you will see a menu that includes: MAKE YOUR OWN QUADRANT!
"The Event Inventor" website that has complete instructions for how to make a quadrant such as Columbus used for navigation. Once you make the quadrant, you can use it to do some of the suggested activities like measuring the height of a building or tree -- or find your Latitude on Earth!
